The evidence strongly supports music therapy as a beneficial intervention for people with dementia, leading to improved quality of life, increased social connection, and providing a pathway for meaningful communication and self-expression as verbal skills decline. This project is among the initial international trials to explore telehealth music therapy for this specific population.
